Product Description

The Jungle Gym XT offers new and enhanced features and design aesthetics to what is arguably the hottest category in fitness today. From V-shaped suspension found on traditional suspension trainers to neutral suspension found in Olympic rings and now wide-angle suspension the Jungle Gym XT offers new features and versatility unlike anything the category has seen before. The new Easy-In Foot Cradle provides hands free use. The comfortable inline adjustment buckles adjust easily yet is still very secure when in use. 5.0 out of 5 stars Jungle Gym XT in a Hotel Room, July 17, 2011
This review is from: Lifeline USA Jungle Gym XT (Misc.)
Customer Video Review Length:: 6:18 Mins

I've used both the TRX and Jungle Gym XT in gyms, but when it came to buying one for personal use while traveling I picked the Jungle Gym XT. I picked the Jungle Gym XT because it was cheaper and had some really smart industrial design choices (i.e. straps are split and not attached, the foot cradle can be mounted without even looking at them, the door anchors are built-in, slick color scheme, etc.)

What's important is that TRX and Jungle Gym XT both suck if you don't know how to use them. Getting instruction on using them or watching videos online will help. Or go to a gym that uses suspension trainers. There's lots of different exercises, but getting that knowledge is key. Also these products should complement and not replace other exercises. Keep running, jump-roping, biking, walking, swimming, dancing, etc!

EDIT: I updated the video and changed the part where I thought I needed shoes for a certain position. All was needed was to... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars OWN and use ALL Suspension training equipment... and this is the best., July 29, 2011
This review is from: Lifeline USA Jungle Gym XT (Misc.)
So, I've owned the TRX force kit for about five years, XFit Rings for about three years, and the Jungle Gym XT for about a month now, and I have to say the Jungle Gym XT is the Best Over-all product, in almost all categories. Here's the preferential order I would put the three products: First place: Jungle Gym XT, Second Place: XFit Rings, and Third Place: TRX. And I'm rating them REGARDLESS OF PRICE!!!!
I'm not trying to pick on any specific product. I'm giving my best over-all objective opinion based on my expertise (I am a personal trainer at an exclusive high level gym). To be fair to all manufacturers, I still use ALL three of the products. My intention with this review is to educate consumers so you can make an objective decision.
I'll just limit my review to the cons because I don't want to continue the redundancy of talking about what these products can do.
First: Hygiene! the TRX falls short especially if you are sharing the product with others. The... Read more

I received my Jungle Gym XT a few weeks ago after a thorough search for a good suspension trainer. I am very impressed with the quality of construction on this unit. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design process.

If you are new to suspension trainers start out using the included DVD and work your way through the basics first. Trust me, the exercises may be listed as basic, but it will work your core muscles harder than you have ever used those muscles. My 19 year old son figured he could skip right through and start at the intermediate level. He is in fantastic shape and after a short while he said "maybe I should start with the basic exercises first."

I looked at the TRX suspension straps but there were a few things I did not like. I wanted to be able to move the straps for a wide grip, TRX does not allow that, but Jungle Gym XT does. I also did not like the foot loops on the TRX straps, they are just loops of strap, not like the professional... Read more
