The glove itself is leather, however the lacing to attach the webbing snapped within a week under normal use. The lacing had to be replaced. When her coach restrung it, he said it was really brittle, was made of pleather, and was half as thick as the replacement leather lacing her used. Overall, I think, the glove is ok, but I don't expect to have these issues with a Mizuno product.
