| 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful  high quality net, well worth the price, This review is from: Callaway Tri-Ball Hitting Net (Sports) I purchased the 7x8 net at a local store because my last net broke because of the poles being pretty cheap ($40 for my previous brand) and I was really not looking to spend a ton of money but I had heard really good things about the Callaway nets and so I gave it a shot. Overall it is very well built and I can tell the poles on this one are much thicker and stronger than the one I had before so breaking is not going to be an issue. The net is very strong and I havent had any issues with it. I also like the design of the net. The triangle shape gives it pretty good depth for your shots and unlike the nets where it's on two poles and is straight across, it allows the balls to softly fall and not spring back. This also takes off tension on the net so you don't worry about hitting one through. It is also very easy to set up and take down, about 7 min up including reading directions and about 4 min down into the bag. Super easy to put up and the 7x8 is plenty big enough. I use it in my backyard and just leave it up, at least for the summer. I didn't put up the Callaway thing in the middle so you barely even see the net when you look at my yard. Great price compared to other nets of this quality. This is my first season with it so I can't attest to it's durability but so far so good. If you want to work on your swing you can't be spending money at the range all the time. I was a little worried about golf nets in general because of all the mixed reviews I read such as sturdiness of the net or couldn't use "real" golf balls because they would rip the net, etc. But this new was SO worth every penny we paid for it (which was a bargin I should say!) not only does it handle "real" golf balls being hit into it but it can also handle a rambuctious 4 year old who not only hits his golf balls but plays in it as well. The net is VERY sturdy and well made and I would suggest this product to anyone! |
