This review is from: Lightspeed Ample 6 Tent (Sports) My girlfriend and I are planning on camping, and I'm pretty new to the game. I wanted an easy tent to setup, and this is absolutely it. We looked at the instructions a few times, but it really is unpack it, pull it up, tie it off, and put the stakes in the ground. The rainfly was a bit more confusing, but not a big issue. Probably about 10 minutes total. When I initially read the other comments on this product, I was really surprised that almost nobody talked about how it handled storms/rain/wind. So just to get some feedback on that feature here - we set up the tent and ventured out to buy batteries for our air mattress pump - by the time we got back it was looking pretty nasty outside so we decided we'd leave the tent up while we slept in the basement! I am a novice in tenting and this product made me feel much less inept. The quick and easy set-up was totally a confidence booster. And the best part was that I was able to take it down, roll it up and fit it back into the bag it came in...all by myself! My friends and I did actually fit 6 people into this tent cozily, yet comfortably. And we were adequately protected from the elements...of Southern California. But don't get me wrong, it can get windy out in that desert! I highly recommend this product, especially at this price. It basically eliminates set-up and take-down time so you can spend most of your time actually having fun and enjoying the outdoors. Thanks Lightspeed! 15 of 17 people found the following review helpful Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: Lightspeed Ample 6 Tent (Sports) First the Pros:The tent is very easy to put together it is spacious and has good ventilation The cons: My tent came without a fly. Luckily I put it together in the backyard and found this out shortly after I got it. A small portion of the tent ripped during set up that first time. Poor quality. I am planning to return this tent and hope for better luck with a different one. |
