5.0 out of 5 stars Dual Cannon Rod Holder Dual Axis, September 16, 2011

These rod holders appear to be well made and should last a long time. Looks like this rod holder can be mounted directly with screws or with the track (not included). The track is nice because you can remove the rod holder when not in use.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice, April 21, 2011

I had the Roberts and Ram rod holders until I tried 2 of the Cannon Dual Axis. The Cannons are much nicer, they keep the rod outside the boat gunnels. Much more room without the rod handles inside the boat and more adjustability on angles without the butt ends of the handles hitting each other. Makes it easier to change lures with these pulled straight up and clears boat docks when launching or loading. These say they are infinite rotation but the tab locks down in 18 degree increments which is much better than the 45 degrees I expected. I cut slots in the butts of my rod handles to lock into the horizontal gimbal roll pin in the bottom to keep the reels facing up while trolling.
