Very easy to assemble, and it's a bit larger than I expected it to be which is a good thing. I'm 6' and can very comfortably lay lengthwise inside without touching either side wall.It's also very portable and will be a breeze to pack in our luggage. This will be a welcome addition to our vacation! Only negative: Carry bag is not super high-quality construction so I'm planning to re-enforce the carry strap before we tote it around for a week. Single stitching where the carry strap meets the bag is likely to fail after several uses. I also agree that it provides more than adequate shade and space inside. This product, however, does not work at all on the beach with the ocean breeze. In fact it acts like a parachute, making it impossible to keep it safely or comfortably on the ground. I tried it inside and in the backyard where there is no wind and it works great, but it is not useful at all when faced with direct sea breeze. I thought the "windows" might allow the air to go through, but they do not. I would not buy this product if you plan to use it mostly on a breezy beach where the sand does not allow for very firm nail down. |
