I love it! I have been looking for a comfy crusier style bike but versitale enough to go from trails to off roading. I biked 1/2 way up my super steep hill with no problem. The set up wasn't too hard. I have never worked on a bike before and with a few tools I was able to but on the front tire, pedals and handle bars. The seat is very comfortable. It is comfortable and a great height. I wanted the look of the cruisers, but wanted to be able to keep up with my husband while biking. This bike fits the bill perfectly - it has the mud guards and the cute back rack, but it can keep up too! There are a lot of gears, I don't change them too much, but I do like having them instead of just 1 or 3 options like a cruiser would offer. I've ridden this bike to work (~ 7 miles one way) and it was a great ride. The seat is comfortable too. I would highly recommend this bike if you want a cute, sophisticated bike that can ride well too.Just know that you will have to take this to a bike shop unless you're a professional. It pretty much comes assembled, so my husband put it together, seemed easy enough - unfortunately he put the handle bars on backwards (looked normal to me! lol) and the fender in the front kept rubbing on the tires - also the gears felt weird and it was hard to pedal --... The instruction manual seemed to be for all Schwinn bikes and not specific for this model of bike, thus, it was very confusion. My boyfriend and I tried to assemble it, however the breaks were sticky and needed lubrication and the tire blew out (we may have over-inflated it. We took it into a bike shop, and they laughed at us and said they recommended having them re-assemble it.After having it properly built... the bike is perfect! We really really love it. It is durable and sporty enough to take off road, but also light and comfortable enough for leisurely rides. It is gorgeous too!! I get a lot of compliments. Summary: A GREAT BUY! BUT, budget to have it assembled professionally at a bike shop (cost us $60). |
