Product Description

Powerflex is the newest and most versatile recent development in athletic tape. Because it does not have adhesive, it does not stick to skin and can be used in place of prewrap, but because it sticks to itself it can be used to hold gauze pads and bandages in place. Powerflex is often used in medical (and veterinary) settings to hold catheters or IVs in place. Also, because of the wide variety of colors it is often used for wrapping wrists and equipment in team colors or for causes (i.e. pink for breast cancer awareness). Available colors include: black, blue, blue/gray tiger stripe, blue/white tiger stripe, green, green/white tiger stripe, grey, light blue, lime green, maroon, navy, orange, orange/black tiger stripe, orange/white tiger stripe, pink, pink/black tiger stripe, purple, purple/white tiger stripe, red, red/black tiger stripe, red/white tiger stripe, tan, teal, white, yellow, yellow/green tiger stripe. It is also available in 1in. 2in. 3in. 4in. and 6in. rolls.

I am a speed/strength and soccer coach. I use this stretch wrap for feet and ankles and it works great. It is useful as a base but can be used to provide considerable support while allowing flexibility required for soccer players. It is also a better base for turf toe taping than plain underwrap. It is similar to vetwrap but more supportive. I go through a lot of wrap and tape and I show other trainers how I use this stuff. Everyone likes it.

it sticks to itself very well, but the material is so rough that i can't use it to protect my feet from blisters on my runs. the foam wrap is better for that purpose.
