4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good, April 11, 2012
This review is from: Coleman Expedition First Aid Kit (Sports)
While it may not have everything for a long term backpacking adventure, it has quite a bit. I found all items to be well within use dates, and the kit to be well organized. The case is top notch and can take a load of punishment.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great starter, throw out the old pills and get some new., April 1, 2012
This review is from: Coleman Expedition First Aid Kit (Sports)
OK, it appears that the pills and perhaps the ointment may be short on shelf life. Well,if you've priced zipper organizer bags, bandages (Band-aids), tape, gauze pads, etc. lately you know this is a bargain. Also, none of those items have a shelf life so throw out the short lived items and replace them out of your medicine cabinet and say, wow! this is a well laid out storage bag for first aid , and it holds all we need for the whole group. At the sale price of $18.++ this is a good value if you only got the bag. This thing has all the stuff well organized. We have 8 vehicles with first aid kits. Last time I looked at our 8 separate first aid kits they were just a bunch of stuff -- stuffed into small soft-sided lunch coolers. You have to take everything out just to find a band-aid. No joke, when there is much of a accident and time is short, you don't want to have to spend it looking for the right item. Enough said.

Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)

This kit arrived with a expiration date that is only 6 months away. OK kit, neat case, POOR TIMING. Would have not bought this kit if I would have known that.
